I figured as my very first post on this brand spankin' new blog I would introduce myself and tell you all a little about myself.
My name is Julita, I am 17 years old (18 in less than a month!), and I live in the Chicago-land area. Instead of having to come up with random things to tell you all, I figured I'll just answer the about me tag that sometimes circulates on youtube.
1. Do you have a middle name? - Unfortunately, I do not. But I do have a confirmation name that I quite like, Jadwiga, which in English it translates into Hedwig. If there is one thing you should know about me is that I am absolutely mental over Harry Potter, so I would be lying if I said that that translation didn't sway me to pick that name.
2. What's your favorite subject in school? - At the moment I am quite enjoying my requited art class. But my all time favorite class subjects are anything History/Social Studies related and English.
3. What's your favorite drink? - Soda wise I LOVE Mountain Dew, it's my kryptonite. My healthier choice would have to be orange juice.
4. What's your favorite song at the moment? - For the past couple of days Forever and For Always - Shania Twain has been playing on repeat. I accidentally came across it and now I cannot stop myself from playing it. Other than that song, I recently heard about the band Hurts so I've also been listening to their two albums, Exile and Happiness.
5. What would you name your children? - The boy names to choose from would be Henry, Harry, and Hubert and for girls I really love the name Wanda.
6. Do you participate in any sports? - Oh no no no, I am absolutely horrible at any and all sports. BUT I did play on my school soccer team from 6th to 8th grade. I honestly do not know how I even made the team.
7. What's your favorite book? - My favorite books of all time have to be the Harry Potter series, I'm not even sure if I can choose one of them as my favorite. One of my favorites that I can think of right now is This Lullaby - Sarah Dessen, the characters and the story line is just so perfect.
8. What's your favorite color? - Purple. But my favorite colors to wear are black, grey, and navy.
9. What's your favorite animal? - Hippos, tigers, and wolves!
10. What's your favorite holiday? - Definately Christmas.
11. Have you been out of the country? - The only place I've ever been to was Poland on 3 separate occasions to visit family. My parents, older sisters, and basically everyone in my family were all born in Poland. I am the first to be born in America!
12. Do you speak any other languages? - I speak fluent Polish. I took Spanish for 3 years, but I do not even think I can form a complete logical sentence.
13. Sibilings? - I have two older sisters. Justyna is 23 years old and Martyna is 21.
14. Favorite movie(s) - Harry Potter, duh. Every Disney movie, Lord of the Rings series, She's the Man, Something Borrowed, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, and Totoro.
15. Height, hair color, eye color - I am 5"7, my hair is this auburnish red color, and I have hazel eyes.
